High-Voltage Insulating Matting

Insulating matting is the last line of defence in front of live equipment. Duratuf mats are tested to ASTM D178 and IEC 61111 across five classes, with thickness rising from 3.2mm to 12.7mm as the rating climbs. Specify to the maximum working voltage — 1 kV for Class 0 up to 36 kV for Class 4 — not to the withstand figure, which is the destructive test value. The textured surface stays anti-slip underfoot and the rubber resists oils, chemicals and abrasion in daily substation use.
